To the University of Florida Equestrian Club Hunt Seat Team
Who We Are
SHOWING IHSA
The UF Hunt Seat team is made up of undergraduate students at the University of Florida. Riding assessments are held at the beginning of each semester in order to establish the level of experience for new members. Our team is considered a club sport within the University of Florida Division of RecSports.

The UF Hunt Seat competes in Zone 5, Region 5 of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association against other colleges in Florida and SCAD in Savannah, GA. We are also very involved our local community in Gainesville, attend fundraisers, host social events, and work hard with the coaches, horses, and our teammates at the sport we love.
FACILITIES
Lessons and Home Shows are held at Kimberden South in Ocala, roughly 30-45 minutes from campus. This facility, owned and operated by Coach Kim Burnette, is a top notch show barn with talented trainers and horses. While the team season is during the fall and spring semesters, lessons are offered year-round.
